Hey there – Andy Beshear here, Governor of Kentucky and Vice Chair of the DGA, with an important message for you ahead of the election in just 4 days.


Donald Trump’s dangerous agenda is hurting people across the country – from unlawfully trying to send the National Guard into states over governors’ objections, to passing a budget that will gut Medicaid and make health insurance too expensive for millions of Americans, to instituting harsh tariffs impacting farmers and rural communities. It’s clear that Trump is governing in a way that isn’t showing humanity – it’s just showing cruelty. We deserve leadership that sees all Americans as equal and worthy of respect.


Democratic governors across the country are standing up and fighting back against Trump’s agenda – and we have the opportunity to elect two more Dem govs next week, and more in next year’s 36 races.


As we approach these consequential races, the DGA needs to know what matters most to Democrats right now – and I’m reaching out personally because I want to make sure your thoughts are heard.

As a second-term governor, Andy Beshear has a long record of accomplishments. He restored voting rights to nearly 200,000 Kentuckians, secured low-cost health care for tens of thousands, had the three best economic development years on record, and had the lowest unemployment rate in state history. He won his first election by just 5,136 votes and his second by 5 percentage points because Kentuckians and folks across the country know that he will work every day to make Americans’ lives better – from jobs to infrastructure, health care, public education, and so much more.

Now he’s serving as DGA Vice Chair to continue the fight for progress by electing Democratic governors across the country.
