We cannot stand by and ignore the problem. Major social media platforms lacking proper oversight have become increasingly hostile to the public interest -- and the truth.

 

Accountable Tech was launched to demand that social media companies stop profiting off lies and misinformation, and instead strengthen the integrity of their platforms and our democracy.
