Right now, Chevron CEO Mike Wirth and other execs are preparing to report to their shareholders how much money the corporation has earned for them this quarter. At 11 a.m. ET, they’ll run Chevron’s quarterly earnings call.

This is the perfect moment for us to tell CEO Wirth exactly what we think about how Chevron puts profits over people and the planet. Let’s jam the phone lines at the fossil fuel corporations’ headquarters.

As you may know, Chevron was just voted the most shameful corporation in this year’s Corporate Hall of Shame — among a full roster of abusive corporations propping up the Trump regime. And that means it’s time to take action to hold Chevron accountable!

Whether we were born in the U.S. or recently arrived, most of us want the freedom to build a better life for ourselves, our children, and future generations. And we believe that people, not corporations, should be calling the shots when it comes to the air we breathe, the water we drink, and our collective future.

But Big Polluter CEOs like Mike Wirth are willing to literally burn down everything for the sake of their own and their shareholders' ballooning bank accounts. They’ve poured boatloads of money into the Trump regime. In return, the regime has given Big Polluters even more license to pollute with impunity. It’s also given corporations like Chevron major tax breaks, while making massive cuts to the programs and safety nets that protect us, our elders, and our neighbors.

Here are just a few reasons Chevron earned its shameful place in the Corporate Hall of Shame:

It is propping up the Trump regime so it can have free rein to extract and pollute.
Its toxic legacy in Ecuador has destroyed the lives of Indigenous peoples and poisoned the land and water in the Amazon.
Chevron is fueling apartheid and genocide, funneling millions of dollars in royalties and fees to the Israeli government.

Every day, CEO Mike Wirth and other execs running Chevron are making decisions that harm our neighbors and communities around the world — all in the name of raking in enormous profit.

But here’s the thing: When people come together and take collective action, we prove more powerful than fascists and the corporations that bought them. So let’s let Chevron execs know what we think about their decision-making.

Cut ties with the Trump regime
Pay for the destruction of communities and the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador
Divest from its gas fields and pipeline in Israel
