Democrat Lawmaker Indicted in Alleged Sex Tape Blackmail Scheme |
Sexual blackmail is shockingly common in politics. You wouldn’t believe how many well-known public figures are compromised by bedroom videos. It would blow your mind. This story serves as a reminder.
A federal grand jury has charged a Maryland state senator with extortion and conspiracy, accusing her of deploying a hidden camera to record a former political consultant’s adulterous rendezvous and using the footage to coerce the victim into never criticizing her campaign. Senator Dalya Attar’s henchman hid the cameras in smoke detectors to film a 2020 sexual encounter between the consultant and a married man, according to the indictment.
The saga began in 2018, when the salacious advisor began working for Attar. The relationship quickly soured, prompting a feud that apparently led the pair down this dark and perverse path. We can’t help but wonder what the consultant knows about the politician that makes silencing her so important. Read more.

Black Lives Matter Is Under Investigation |
Federal prosecutors are reportedly investigating whether senior Black Lives Matter leaders defrauded donors during the George Floyd protests.
The group saw a surge of over $90 million in donations as rioters torched America’s cities in 2020, and investigators suspect its top figures of improperly managing the funds. In 2022, BLM foundation leaders confirmed the use of donor money to buy a sprawling $6 million property in Los Angeles, which included a six-bedroom, six-bathroom home.
The foundation’s latest public federal tax filings show it had $28 million in assets as of the end of June 2024, and Indiana’s attorney general sued the group in 2022 for failing to comply with a state investigation into its finances.
The 2020 riots caused over $1 billion in damages. The scope of the DOJ’s probe is unknown. Read more. |
11 Months After the Election, Kamala Still Shills for Biden |
It’s been over nine months since Kamala Harris was Joe Biden’s vice president. Why is she still spreading his propaganda?
Harris brought her interviewer’s jaw to the floor on Thursday by insisting the confused former commander in chief was “fully competent” to remain in power until age 86, mind-bogglingly claiming “he had the stamina to govern.”
We won’t use this newsletter to debunk Kamala’s crazy claim. Videos from throughout Biden's term clearly showed his brain is as cooked as a well-done steak. So why is she still playing this game? Her old boss is a relic of the past, and it’s hard to imagine Democrat voters even slightly caring whether potential 2028 candidates hurt his feelings. He’s irrelevant.
How come Kamala and Gavin Newsom won’t just tell the truth? Do they really think Joe Biden’s approval is the key to the nomination? He’ll probably be in a nursing home by the time the primary rolls around. Why do they keep insulting the public by insisting he’s as sharp as a tack? Read more. |
MASS EXODUS: Nearly 100,000 Young Men Flee Ukraine
|
Ukrainians are running for the hills.
Nearly 100,000 of the country’s fighting-age men have fled their homeland in the past two months, according to Poland’s border guard. The mass exodus comes after the Zelensky government eased regulations requiring its people to stay. In 2022, martial law blocked Ukrainian men between 18 and 60 from leaving the country. Now, they can travel abroad before turning 23.
Zelensky hopes that allowing the men to leave will motivate them to fight upon returning. Considering the war has killed approximately 100,000 of the nation’s troops, it’s easy to imagine many of the travelers not going back at all.
Remember this story the next time Joe Biden's allies lecture you about how America is helping Ukraine. This war, which is still going only because of U.S. funding, is completely destroying the nation they claim they’re supporting. There’s no better sign that a country is failing than its people being desperate to leave. Ukraine needs peace, and America never should have prevented it. Read more.

Attempted Trump Assassin Really Wants to Die |
Convicted would-be Trump assassin asked the judge presiding over his case to move him to a state where assisted suicide is legal on Wednesday, once again signaling that he wants to die. The move comes one month after he tried to stab himself with a pen upon receiving his guilty verdict.
“I would like to plan forward for sentencing and request kindly to be placed in a state that has assisted suicide since I am a constant failure,” Ryan Routh, who serves as his own legal representation, wrote. “I have yet been unable to obtain a list, but I hope someone can provide it.”
Assisted death is legal in 10 states and Washington, D.C. Routh’s sentencing is scheduled for next month. He faces life behind bars after his conviction on all five counts, including attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate and possessing a firearm to carry out a violent crime. KIM KARDASHIAN: The Moon Landing Was Fake |
Was the moon landing real? Kim Kardashian isn’t buying it.
The reality TV star planted her flag in the “conspiracy theory” camp during Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, plainly saying that “it didn’t happen.”
Why does she hold this belief? Is she a secret tin foil hat enthusiast? Not at all. Kardashian cited an old video of Buzz Aldrin seemingly slipping up and admitting to a live audience that the event “didn’t happen.”
“What was the scariest moment of the journey?” a student asked the astronaut during a Q&A at Oxford.
“Scariest?” he replied. “It didn’t happen. It could have been scary.”
The event’s panelist quickly claimed Aldrin had heard the question incorrectly. Read more. |
We love Donald Trump.
We campaigned for him last year, attended both of his inaugurations, and would do it all again if given the chance. Plus, he’s hilarious. Maybe the country’s best dinner party host. It’s really something else.
Those feelings are why this Economist/YouGov poll bummed us out. It shows the president’s popularity in freefall, particularly among young Americans. 75% of respondents under 30 expressed disapproval of his job performance, compared to only 20% who saw things positively. That minus-55 net approval is a 63-point swing in the wrong direction since February. Figures like those will make Republican political consultants tremble in their boots. Even they may struggle to find a positive spin.
The good news is that this problem is fixable. We’re still less than a year removed from Trump earning the strongest support from young voters for a Republican candidate in nearly two decades. Flocks of new adults flooded the polls for him last November, and there’s no reason to believe they wouldn’t rally behind him again. He just has to focus on the issues that earned him their support in the first place.
When people think of MAGA, they think of the president. There will always be groups that remain for or against him solely based on his personality. But that’s not most of the country, and it certainly isn’t young people. The movement that ushered Trump back into the White House is about more than one man. It’s about the ideas he represented and campaigned on 12 months ago.
America First. No new wars. Secure the border. Protect U.S. jobs. Freedom of speech.
The tragedy of the Trump story is that both times he’s taken office, usurpers in the GOP have engineered calculated efforts to steer his administrations away from their campaign promises in favor of the traditional establishment Republican agenda. That program is the precise opposite of what MAGA hat-wearing voters want.
America First? These fake Republicans are totally against it. They’d rather put Ukraine and Israel first, and the United States somewhere between 22nd and 39th, if we’re lucky.
Starting foreign conflicts that have nothing to do with our country? Are you kidding? It’s not just what they live for; it’s all they live for. Have you heard from Lindsey Graham lately? He’s fully committed to wars with Iran, Venezuela, and probably any other non “ally” you could find on a map. And he’s far from alone.
Secure the border? Neoliberals have no interest. A closed border means less cheap labor, which makes their donors very upset. The same goes for protecting our country's jobs. The less common-sense protectionism, the better for them. It’s all about their treasured corporations’ bottom lines, American workers be damned.
Then there’s freedom of speech. It would be nice if all Republicans aligned on an issue as straightforward as this. But no. The House recently passed a bill mind-numbingly equating criticism of a foreign government to prohibited discrimination and harassment. There’s nothing more American than the freedom to critique your rulers. Anyone who says the government should block citizens from expressing hostile views about another country’s leadership clearly has no regard for the First Amendment.
The more the president listens to the forces subverting his agenda with the views listed above, the further his numbers will slide. If he kicks them to the curb and commits his White House to the roots of the MAGA program, he’ll exit office as popular as when he entered. We hope he chooses the latter. It’s best for him, his voters, and the country as a whole.

October 31, 1517: The beginning of the Protestant Reformation. Priest and scholar Martin Luther nailed his 95 revolutionary opinions to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, publicly condemning the excesses and corruption of the Roman Catholic Church. Chief among his complaints was the papal practice of seeking payment for the forgiveness of sins. The people in charge reacted hysterically to Luther’s writings, headlined by Pope Leo X excommunicating him from the Catholic Church and Roman Emperor Charles V declaring him an outlaw and a heretic and giving permission for anyone to kill him without consequence. Luther’s beliefs went on to form the basis of the Protestant Reformation, which revolutionized Western civilization over the next three centuries. |
