Hi John,

Today, I am excited to announce that our campaign has earned the endorsement of the League of Conservation Voters (LCV)! Central Floridians are on the frontlines of the climate crisis, and it is crucial for us to work together in order to tackle the effects of sea-level rise, pollution, offshore drilling, and natural disasters before it's too late.

My 99% lifetime score on LCV's National Environmental Scorecard reflects my dedication to these issues and I am grateful to have the support of those who dedicate their lives to fighting for our environment. When announcing the endorsement of our campaign, Florida Conservation Voters' Deputy Director, Jonathan Webber, said, "since his efforts in the Florida Legislature, Congressman Darren Soto has shown time and again that he is a passionate advocate for our environment. Now in Washington, he continues to be a leading voice for our land, water, and people. From introducing the bill to permanently fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund to standing up to big polluters and fighting for vital environmental safeguards, we can always count on him for leadership."

I am honored by these words, John, but I recognize that our efforts are so much bigger than you and me. The actions we take today to protect the Kissimmee River, Everglades and Great Florida Reef will directly affect the health of future generations in the Sunshine State.

This endorsement has me fired up, and I hope it inspires you to join our grassroots movement as we get closer to Election Day. As always, our inbox is open (click here: [email protected]) for any questions or suggestions, and you can also visit my website (click here: darrensoto.com) to learn more.
