Dear Friend,
As the world celebrates Halloween, many believers feel torn about how to respond. It’s a day often filled with darkness, fear, and the glorification of evil. But as followers of Christ, we are called to live as children of light in the midst of a dark world (Ephesians 5:8).
Instead of retreating or participating mindlessly, this is a moment for reflection. Halloween reminds us that there is a real battle between good and evil — but we already know the outcome. Jesus Christ has conquered sin, death, and the grave. Every symbol of darkness only magnifies the glory of the One who is the Light of the world.
So tonight, as lights flicker in your neighborhood, remember that your light carries the power to change lives. You can use this opportunity to show kindness, speak truth, and point others to the hope we have in Christ. The darker the culture becomes, the brighter the Church should shine.
At Truth & Liberty, we’re committed to equipping believers to live boldly for Christ in every sphere of influence — not just on Sundays, but in the everyday moments when truth and deception collide.
Let’s be the light that cannot be hidden.
In His truth,
The Truth & Liberty Team
