It’s Haley here, and I want to say this up front: This is the most important moment of our campaign so far. We have a critical end-of-month $350,000 goal we need to reach by midnight tomorrow, and we’re still falling short.

So I’m asking directly, if you’re able: Will you chip in $5 today to help us reach our goal, win this race, and keep Michigan blue?

But I also know this is a really hard time for so many people. That’s why I want to take a moment to talk about why this moment matters – and what’s really at stake. 

✅ Health care costs are spiking thanks in part to the GOP’s “Big Beautiful Budget” bill, which slashed health care funding. Now, premiums are skyrocketing. Families are opening their mail to find out they’ll be paying hundreds more per month just to stay covered.

✅ We’re almost a month into the government shutdown, and thousands of federal workers and contractors across Michigan have already gone weeks without pay. They don’t know when they’ll get their next paycheck. But rent is due. Bills don’t shut down. And MAGA Republicans and Donald Trump have done nothing.

✅ On Nov. 1, over 42 million Americans – including 1.4 million Michiganders – will lose access to SNAP benefits if the shutdown continues. That means kids will go to bed hungry in the richest country in the world. It’s shameful. It’s cruel. And it’s avoidable.

This is all deliberate. It’s not just Washington dysfunction. It’s a political strategy – designed by Donald Trump and carried out by his MAGA enablers in Congress.

And if that wasn’t enough, Trump is now openly signaling that he won’t leave office in 2028. His closest advisors are laying the groundwork for him to ignore the Constitution and claim a third term.

We’ve heard this kind of language before in other countries. And we know where it leads.

So what do we do? We win.

The most powerful check we have left on Trump and his Republican allies is winning big in the 2026 midterms. We need to take back the Senate. And it starts right here in Michigan.

That’s the heart of why I’m running. To fight for Michigan families who feel forgotten. To protect our democracy from Trump’s authoritarian plans. To put working people first – and to never, ever stop fighting for the folks who are being tossed aside. 

But I can’t do this alone.

We’ve set a $350,000 end-of-month goal, and I’m counting on you to help me get there by midnight tomorrow. Every dollar we raise will go straight to building the kind of grassroots campaign we need to reach voters in every corner of the state.
