I’ve been crunching our latest fundraising numbers and have bad news: We’re on track to come up just short of where we need to be at the end of October.
You might be asking yourself, “Why does that matter? The election is so far away.” These are fair questions, so let’s break it down.
Right now, we’re still laying the groundwork for a winning campaign, and that requires early investments. We’re hiring the best staff, identifying the voters we need to win, and making a plan to get Tim’s record and vision to every Minnesotan before Election Day.
We need to make these investments right now because Republicans aren’t waiting. Multiple people, including 2022 GOP nominee Scott Jensen, are already attacking Tim and trying to carve out a path to victory. We can’t let them pull ahead.
Plus, the general election is just over one year away — that time is going to fly by, trust me!
