In 2016, Donald Trump won PA by 0.72%.

In 2024, Democratic Sen. Bob Casey lost re-election by 0.22%, or a mere 15,110 votes out of nearly 6.8 million votes cast. 

Elections in Pennsylvania are routinely decided by razor-thin margins of less than 1%.

And this year, three Democrats on the PA Supreme Court are up for retention—or defeat—on the same ballot. Turnout could be the deciding factor in a 50-50 race that will determine control of the state’s highest court for years to come.

That’s why the GOP is using every dirty trick in the book to confuse and scare voters into voting No on retention, a result that would spell disaster for PA and for America as what happens here will ripple out across the country:

Every single thing that you do to help move the needle in this unspeakably urgent tossup election could be the difference between a terrible MAGA victory or a huge win for democracy exactly when we need it most.

And since the outcome of this race will affect everyone in America, it is imperative that we fight hard and never rest until the bell rings on Election Day and make sure that every last valid vote is counted. 

We need to prepare right now for two scenarios: 1) We lose, and MAGA sharpens the knives to gut reproductive rights, voting rights, and fair maps in PA, their example serving as a model for every other state; or 2) We win, and the fight is then shifted to the courts (the very thing we are fighting to protect) as MAGA inevitably tries to invalidate the results with baseless claims of election fraud.
