Five More Days!
It's all hands on deck to earn wins for Mikie, Dale,
and all of our Column 2 candidates!
Hi John,
We have FIVE more days to go , and the most important thing each of us can do between now and November 4 at 8:00pm is to show up across Morris County to support our candidates and turn out voters.
Following are some great Morris County events you can participate in:
Friday
Ever wonder who puts together the hundreds and hundreds of manila envelopes with campaign literature and knock lists for our canvassers? The MCDC does - and it's a fun way to volunteer and make a real contribution to helping Mikie and our Column 2 candidates win on November 4.
Join us at our Morristown headquarters at 11 Washington Street in Morristown tomorrow for:
10am-8pm : Packet Palooza - Sign up here [[link removed]] or just come by
3pm-5pm : Help us hand out candy to trick-or-treaters !
5pm : Come by and meet DNC Chair Ken Martin [[link removed]] ! He’ll be helping us prep and would love to talk to Morris County volunteers and voters and answer your questions.
[[link removed]] Former Vice Presidential Candidate and current Minnesota Governor Tim Walz says, “In Minnesota, Ken has built a national model for how to elect Democrats in a competitive state. I have seen Ken’s leadership in action, and it’s exactly what we need from our next D.N.C. chair.”

Make a Difference by Voting Early
Statewide, Dem returns have topped GOP returns for Early Voting for four or the past five days! However, the Morris Republicans are edging us out here at home.
If you are able to, please take advantage of the Early Voting In-Person option Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. (And bring a friend!)
We’re entering GOTV weekend, and will be chasing ballots across the county. If you vote early, you help us target people who are undecided or vote less often. Please help us work as efficiently and strategically as possible.

If You Read One Thing This Week:
New York Times [[link removed]] : A Fan of ‘Ruthless Competence,’ She Wants to Be Governor of New Jersey
Ms. Sherrill, 53, first drew national attention after flipping a northern New Jersey congressional seat that for three decades had been held by Republicans.
She immediately began talking pragmatically about how to appeal to voters not necessarily inclined to support a Democrat, adopting a saying still quoted by former staff members. “She’d say, ‘We’re just going to win them over with ruthless competence,’” said Kellie Doucette, one of Ms. Sherrill’s former legislative directors.
“The point was that we couldn’t expect to just show up and have everybody love us. We had to show that we were going to work for them.”
In the general election, a central tenet of her neck-and-neck race against Jack Ciattarelli, a Republican endorsed by Mr. Trump, is that the president poses an existential threat to a nation she has taken oaths to defend — in the Navy, as a federal prosecutor and now as a member of Congress.
If You Say One Thing This Week:
Whether it’s lowering our energy bills, driving down the cost of housing and healthcare, or making it easier to start and grow a business — Mikie is ready to fight for New Jerseyans as their next governor. Jack will only serve Trump, and he's refused to stand up for New Jerseyans even when it comes to the Gateway Tunnel Project, the most important infrastructure project to the state and the region's economy.
