The U.S. House is out of session again this week. That's six consecutive weeks of our representatives not showing up to work (but don't worry, they’re still getting paid 🙄).

Republicans would rather keep the government shut down than fix the health care crisis they created. Because of Republicans' inaction, premiums for health plans through the Affordable Care Act are set to rise 30% on average! SNAP and WIC, two of the most important nutrition programs in America, are running out of funding. These programs feed millions of families, making sure kids have breakfast before school, and parents can afford formula.
