Folks, this is a big win:

A bipartisan majority in the Senate voted to pass my legislation to undo Trump’s tariffs on billions of dollars’ worth of goods from Brazil.

These tariffs were driving up the cost of everyday items like coffee at a time when families are already feeling the squeeze from Trump’s chaotic trade wars and the GOP’s ongoing government shutdown.

The last thing Americans need right now is another self-inflicted economic hit from the Trump Administration.

This vote sends a clear message: the American people don’t want more trade wars, more price hikes, or more chaos.

I’m grateful that my colleagues on both sides of the aisle came together to pass this legislation. It’s proof that we can still make progress for working families — even in the middle of a shutdown.

Now the House of Representatives must take up this bill and finish the job.

We know Trump and his allies will keep pushing for reckless policies that hurt consumers and stall our economy — but I’m going to keep using every legislative tool available to fight back.

If you’re with me, will you chip in any amount tonight to help keep up the fight against this lawless and chaotic agenda?

Families are already paying the price for this shutdown. They shouldn’t have to pay higher prices at the store too. 

Let’s keep fighting for stability, common sense, and a government that works for the people.
