We released the latest edition in our groundbreaking Politics of Parenthood series on how many moms of minor children serve in Congress. Our research provides concrete data on exactly how underrepresented mamas are in our nation’s capital, shedding light on why necessary policies like paid leave and affordable childcare don’t get prioritized by our legislators. With Ohio and New Mexico’s approval of Campaign Funds for Security, 15 states now allow the use of privately raised campaign dollars for security expenses.
