Maybe you’ve seen the news coming from New York not too long ago? A leaked group chat from the New York Young Republicans is full of the most vile, racist, antisemitic, and hateful messages imaginable.
We’re talking about adults bragging about being Nazis, using slurs like it’s a sport, and laughing about violence. And yet, not a single New York Republican is demanding consequences. For them, it’s a joke or something to brush off and lie about.
That silence speaks volumes. It shows exactly who they are and what they’re willing to tolerate for power.
This is not who we are. But if we don’t stand up now, this extremism will keep spreading.
We need to hold them accountable, starting by defeating the only Republican representative of New York City in Congress. Nicole Malliotakis should have been the first to condemn this. Instead, she stays silent and loyal to Trump’s movement of hate and division.
