There are fewer than 48 hours left to apply for New Jersey Property Tax Relief!
For homeowners and renters 65+ or receiving Social Security disability: File Form PAS-1 (covering ANCHOR, Senior Freeze, and Stay NJ) by October 31. You'll need property details from 2023 and 2024 bills plus gross income from both years. The state will determine your eligibility and notify you of specific benefits by year's end.
For homeowners and renters under 65 not receiving disability benefits: Many residents already received ANCHOR Benefit Confirmation Letters on August 13. If you didn't receive one, you can still apply using Form ANC-1 by October 31. You'll need your 2024 property bill and 2024 income information only.
Both applications are available online. Have your driver's license, state ID, or passport ready to verify your identity.

Residents are reminded to drive carefully as daylight hours shorten and the risk of deer collisions increases.
White-tailed deer are involved in thousands of motor vehicle collisions every year. Most of those collisions occur during peak deer mating season, which in New Jersey runs from late October through mid-December. Many car commuters drive at times of day when deer are most active, and when lighting conditions may make driving more difficult.

Business.NJ.gov is working to make it easier for people in our State to start a business. We previously invited readers to share their New Jersey business experience in a 10-15 minute survey. We’re asking readers in our Spanish-speaking communities to share that survey, translated into Spanish below, with friends and family.
