John,
I wanted to be sure you saw this email from my team about where things stand in the race to flip CO-08.
If you're short on time, I get it. I hope you'll make a contribution to my campaign using this link. We need all the support we can get before the end of the month!
Best,
Shannon

Re: CO-08 State of the Race Memo
Now that we’re past our second FEC deadline, we want to update you on where things stand in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District — one of the most competitive House races in the country.
This race is uber-competitive…again. Republicans spent millions of dollars last cycle to win this district by less than 2,500 votes. Now that Shannon is in the race, the GOP knows this seat is going to be tough to hold. National Republicans are already going on the attack because they know Shannon has what it takes to win, and losing CO-08 could cost them their House majority.
Our grassroots momentum is real. Thanks to thousands of grassroots supporters like you, we closed out our second FEC deadline strong, without taking a single dime of corporate PAC money. That’s how Shannon is running this campaign: powered by people, not special interests.
We’re showing up everywhere. From Commerce City to Greeley and everywhere in between, we’re showing up at community festivals, parades, small businesses, non-profits, house parties, and more.
We have over 115 endorsements. Current and former elected leaders from across our district and Colorado are supporting Shannon because they know she’s the candidate who can beat Gabe Evans and lower costs for our communities when she’s in Congress. And we have more union endorsements than any non-incumbent congressional candidate west of the Mississippi, because Shannon has consistently fought for good-paying jobs.
Gabe Evans is already falling in line with MAGA extremists. Since taking office, Evans has marched lockstep with Trump to rip away healthcare, defund Planned Parenthood, cut food assistance, and raise costs for working families. He hasn’t held a single in-person town hall. In Congress, he’s been a rubber stamp for the far right, not a voice for Colorado.
We can’t do this alone. We need your help to continue building momentum. Will you donate whatever you can today to join our campaign?
