WASHINGTON, D.C. – America First Legal (AFL) is excited to announce that it is accepting applications for its 2026 NextGeneration Fellowship (NextGen 2026). This nine-month program is designed, principally, to cultivate and equip the next wave of America First attorneys serving, or seeking to enter, the executive branch of the federal government.
AFL’s fellowship provides an incredibly unique opportunity for early- to mid-career attorneys to engage directly with senior legal and policy professionals advancing the America First movement. Fellows will participate and be immersed in an informative series of discussions, workshops, and networking events designed to strengthen their leadership skills, expand professional networks, and equip them with the tools to spearhead real and positive change in our country.
NextGen 2026 is open to licensed attorneys with zero to ten years of experience and will run from February to October 2026. It includes once-monthly evening meetings and three full-day gatherings. All meetings will be in-person in Washington, D.C.
