Friends, I came back from voting on important bills in Washington just in time to celebrate the Fourth of July here in my district. There’s a lot happening, and I want to keep you informed -- here’s a quick rundown:

Safely celebrating the Fourth

I wanted to celebrate the Fourth of July with as many folks from MI-11 as possible -- so I decorated my car and hit the road!

By wearing a mask, staying outdoors, and keeping distant, I was able to safely visit six communities in the district. I even got to enjoy a car show, a farmer’s market, and a high school boat graduation!

I’m left with no doubt -- our community is resilient, strong, and united.

Passing the Moving Forward Act

I’m proud to announce that the House passed the bipartisan Moving Forward Act.

American infrastructure is crumbling -- and we Michiganders know that better than most.

This bill will create millions of good-paying jobs that will repair roads, provide clean water, expand internet access, and renovate schools.

Please, will you sign your name to demonstrate public support for this bill? We need to get it through the Senate!

Preparing for our primary

Since the day I was elected, Republicans have been eager to flip this district back to red.

In just a few weeks, we’ll see which of my Republican challengers makes it on the ballot against me.

But before that, we have one more chance to prove the strength of our movement before our FEC pre-primary deadline.
