I’m back on the road across Texas where we just had an energizing event in
Tarrant County, one of those counties that we flipped in 2018 but that
went for Trump last November. It just goes to show that nothing about
winning power in Texas is easy, that no victory is final, and that the
work is never over. It seems like the hundreds of people who came out last
night in Fort Worth understand that. More than 80 of them signed up for
block walk shifts and more than a dozen told us they’re open to running
for places on the ballot in Tarrant County in 2026.

Being with all of these great people who came out more than a year from
the biggest midterm of our lives filled me with hope and confidence. Plus,
it was fun to reconnect with those I’ve volunteered with before, to listen
to great speakers and candidates, and to enjoy a cold beer on a cold (for
Fort Worth) Texas night.

Persistence, hard work, and the power (and joy) of people is how we’re
going to get it done.

What makes Powered by People different is our personal focus on the voters
who will decide the outcome of the elections ahead of us. We meet them,
listen to them, and work together with them whether they’re in small rural
towns, in suburban counties, or big cities. And in doing this work, we’ve
built an extraordinary community of passionate volunteers that grows by
the day, everyone focused on winning political power by literally meeting
people where they’re at.

We’re not backed by corporate interests or the DNC or establishment
interests. We’re powered by people like you—folks who believe in fairness,
opportunity, and making sure everyone has a voice and a chance to build a
better life.

But it takes resources to make all of that happen… to keep the movement
moving, to keep the road open, and to keep showing up for people across
this country—in red and blue communities alike.
