Hi John,

Yesterday, animal rescuer Zoe Rosenberg was found guilty for saving four suffering chickens from Perdue’s Petaluma Poultry slaughterhouse. Today, we want to share what comes next — and how we turn this moment into momentum for the movement

Right now, the world is watching.

Over recent weeks, this case has received
growing national attention. Yesterday, it was covered by The New York Times, The Guardian, Associated Press, the San Francisco Chronicle, and many others within hours of the verdict. This surge of attention is exposing the industry’s routine cruelty to animals and prompting people across the country to ask deeper questions about animals, what they deserve, and whether rescuing them should ever be treated as a crime at all.

The media has called this “an inflection moment” and a “flash point.”

It’s up to us what story they tell next. Zoe made it clear:
she’s not stopping. Neither are we.
