Patriot,
Time is short to organize against several critical year-end battles.
When House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) finally decides to end the prolonged congressional staycation, you and I will be facing:
>>> The annual budget battle with record spending levels;
>>> A bipartisan threat to further expand the (Un)affordable Care Act, better known as ObamaCare;
>>> An organized attempt to secretly reauthorize Section 702 surveillance powers by hiding it in “must-pass” legislation.
All these threats -- and more -- are on the horizon, likely during the height of the coming holiday season.
It’s urgent we raise the funds we’ll need to finance these critical battles.
We’ve already had our hands full in 2025.
The first thing this Congress did after being sworn in was to pass a Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government for fiscal year 2025 – at Joe Biden-Nancy Pelosi spending levels.
Never mind the fact that CRs are supposed to be TEMPORARY funding patches meant to buy a little time for negotiations. . .
A full year CR had never been done before!
And instead of getting straight to work on the twelve 2026 budget bills, which should have been wrapped up by September, they AGAIN kicked the can so far down the road, the government is now shut down as a result.
It’s political theater at its finest!
Both parties are continuing to spend like there’s no tomorrow, and neither one seems at all concerned about the plight of ordinary Americans who don’t have crony connections.
While citizens like you and me suffer from high grocery, rent, utility, and insurance bills, well-connected D.C. swamp creatures are feeding at the taxpayer-funded trough.
And while the House and Senate FAILED to do their job and pass the budget on time, none of them are suffering for it -- they are all getting paid!
But once the political theater ends and the federal government reopens, the actual budget battle will kick off. . .
When it does, we will need all hands on deck to STOP the statists’ scheme to bury Section 702 surveillance reauthorization into a must-pass bill.
Senators made clear early in President Trump’s second term they would not confirm any of his nominees unless they agreed to continue the unconstitutional surveillance of Americans under section 702 of FISA.
Now, they’re conspiring to hide reauthorization in an unrelated bill in the hopes you won’t notice what they’re doing.
You and I have fought HARD on this issue for years, and we came within ONE VOTE of winning just over a year ago.
It is because of Campaign for Liberty and patriots like you that we are so close to finally reining in the Spy State. . .
And that is why the Big Government statists in D.C. are so desperate to sneak it past you while you’re distracted.
And I’m afraid they just might succeed without your help today ([link removed]).
Right now, our national debt is over $38 TRILLION -- that’s $327,507 per taxpayer -- and yet, the Big Spenders in D.C. are showing NO signs of slowing down!
Just consider the record spending this year on the Military Industrial Complex (MIC). . .
When you include the MIC spending in the “One Big Beautiful Bill” along with the proposed MIC budget for 2026, it’s well over $1 TRILLION!
I don’t know how much more out-of-control spending our country can take before the entire house of cards comes crashing down.
But the budget and the Spy State aren’t our only critical battles right now.
Next on the docket is the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The Senate and the House each passed different versions, and a conference committee is hammering out the differences.
This is the bill most likely to include Spy State reauthorization and any number of other assaults on your liberty.
And then there’s the socialized healthcare battle the Democrats are using as their excuse for the current government shutdown.
With Joe Biden’s “enhanced” ObamaCare subsidies due to expire soon, many Republicans are now signaling support for this socialist healthcare scheme!
What happened to their (empty) promises to repeal ObamaCare and restore free market healthcare?
And of course, as soon as Speaker Mike Johnson FINALLY brings the House back into session, the battle to release the Epstein files will heat up once more.
Those battles -- and more -- are coming at us like a freight train!
But, Patriot, I’m afraid we don’t have the resources to raise much more than a whimper in the halls of Congress right now.
Money is tight at Campaign for Liberty these days. Too tight. I need your help.

Your Campaign for Liberty is quite literally run on a shoestring budget. We do everything we can to carefully spend every red cent making the biggest difference.
That means when contributions start to run dry, as they have in the past several months, we feel it. Big time.
We’ve already had to make some pretty substantial cuts . . . more may be on the horizon.
So please don’t file this email away and think someone else will carry the load. Will you please act ([link removed])?
Campaign for Liberty supporters have never let me down before. And we’ve made so much progress together.
And I still believe we have so much more we can achieve in the future -- together. But defeating the Swamp and restoring liberty in America can’t happen without paying the bills.
If everyone reading this email agreed to give just $20 or even $10, your Campaign for Liberty would be right back on firm footing.
But the sad truth is, not every one of our supporters can do that. Especially during these turbulent times.
But for others, a contribution of $1,000, $500, $250, or $100 is well within reach.
Is your Liberty worth it?
If so, would you consider reinvesting in what you helped start with a generous donation today ([link removed])?
The truth is, Campaign for Liberty is not my organization . . . it’s yours.
It belongs to the tens of thousands of grassroots patriots all over the country who helped take the Liberty Movement from nothing to a major force in modern American politics.
Your support would mean the world to me right now -- and help your Campaign for Liberty continue making a world of difference.

So please agree to your most generous contribution of $10, $100, $500, or whatever you can afford today ([link removed]).
Thanks for all you do.
For Liberty,
Ron Paul
Chairman
