If passed, it will ban chokeholds and no-knock warrants, mandate the use of dashboard and body cameras, prohibit police from discrimination, and create the National Police Misconduct registry to prevent violent officers from simply moving to another jurisdiction.

Susie has talked to so many police officers in our community who want to do right by the communities they serve, and this bill will help them do just that. But if we don’t show enough support for this bill when it’s passed -- Senate Republicans won’t touch it on arrival.
