The countdown clock may not
reflect your time zone, but the deadline for the match is midnight
local time, October 31.
Dear Friend,
With every day that goes by, someone's
family member or friend is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. In
fact, more than half of all Americans know someone living with
Alzheimer's, and that number will continue to grow. For those living
with Alzheimer's and their loved ones, every day is precious. You can
make a difference in their lives - DOUBLE the difference -
but you need to act now.

. The deadline is MIDNIGHT TOMORROW, which means you have just two
more days for your first gift to go twice as far to help provide vital
care and support and advance critical research.

The JTMF Foundation has pledged to match all gifts - up
to $100,000 - made to the Alzheimer's Association if we can
raise that same amount by October 31. The trustees of the foundation
have chosen to have their gift support Project ECHO®. Their gift,
made in honor of loved ones they've lost to Alzheimer's, will improve
access to best-practice care and resources within local communities.
Your gift will fund global research efforts and help provide care and
support to all those impacted by this devastating disease.

Please don't wait - we haven't hit our goal yet, but
it's within reach. Your first gift to our Grateful Giving 2X Match
could be the one to unlock these special match funds that will help
further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other
dementia - by accelerating global research, driving risk
reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and
support.

HAVE YOUR IMPACT DOUBLED NOW

Together, we can beat Alzheimer's. We've made tremendous
progress in our fight, and we're learning more about ways that we can
fight back. Research has led to treatment breakthroughs, as well as
clinical trials and studies, including U.S. POINTER - an
Association-funded two-year clinical trial to evaluate whether
lifestyle interventions that simultaneously target many risk factors
protect cognitive function in older adults who are at increased risk
of cognitive decline.

Results from the study were presented during this year's
Alzheimer's Association International Conference® (AAIC®) and
found that positive, everyday actions can make a difference in brain
health, and when combined into a program that targets multiple factors
like physical activity, improving nutrition, cognitive and social
challenge and health monitoring, it can have an even more powerful
impact.

The generosity of our supporters allows the Association to
continue to be there for all who need us and to offer educational
resources like our 10 Healthy Habits, which include more everyday
actions you can take to potentially lower your risk for cognitive
decline and potentially developing Alzheimer's.
