This election is about more than just electing Democrats across our state – it’s about protecting abortion access for an entire region.

Virginia is the last state in the South with unrestricted abortion care, but anti-choice Republicans want to change that. We’ve heard it all from the anti-choice candidates:
* Comparing reproductive care to slavery
* Claiming that Democrats in VA support abortion up to the moment of birth (which is not a thing)
* Supporting “commonsense consensus to protect life at 15 weeks” – What is a “commonsense consensus” abortion ban?
* Calling abortion “genocide”
* Saying Abigail Spanberger, the Democratic nominee for governor, wants abortion up until the very hour the baby could be born (again, not a thing)

These are just SOME of the ways Republicans chose to message on reproductive healthcare. It’s clear they do not respect the right to choose or that a majority of Virginians support access to abortion.
