If you click on the thumbnail from 9am on Wednesday morning, the video should begin automatically. I reccommend saving this link as a bookmark so it's easy to find on the day.
In the meeting you’ll hear from those who’ve experienced the harsh reality of the ban on assisted dying in the UK, alongside experts from regions where assisted dying is legal.
Speakers will include Jill Hennessy MP, Attorney General and former Health Minister in Victoria, Australia, the minister in charge of Victoria’s Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill. Sher Safran and Joy Munns, will also discuss how their experiences of their parents’ deaths differed due to the legalisation of assisted dying in Oregon and the blanket ban in the UK.
