Happening Virtually! New England's premier global Indigenous arts festival!

For 46 years, Cultural Survival Bazaars have hosted Indigenous artists from across the world. Cultural Survival Bazaars are a series of cultural festivals that provide Indigenous artists, cooperatives, and their representatives from around the world the chance to sell their work directly to the U.S. public.

You are invited to join us on Saturday, July 25, 2020  at 12 pm for our first Virtual Bazaar!

This Summer, we welcome vendors representing over 1551 artists from over 21 cultures. Their work will span various styles and forms, including handwoven textiles, natural fiber bags, kitchenware, jewelry, paintings, scarves, clothing, woodwork, and more! Check out some of our featured artists:
Deborah Spears Moorehead
Deborah Spears Moorehead, an artist from the Seaconke, Pokanoket, Wampanoag, Narragansett, Pequot, Mohawk, and Nipmuc Tribal Nations, has been drawing since she can remember. Moorehead states, “The Creator chose me to have the talent to be an artist…I started drawing when I was old enough to pick up a pencil.”
Zienzele Foundation
The Zienzele Foundation works in some of the poorest villages in Zimbabwe. Through basket-weaving and other projects, our women's groups earn money to help support themselves and care for over 1,000 orphans.
Radical Grandma Collective
RadGram is a nonprofit online store that funds environmental justice organizing by women in Northeast Thailand.

This scarf is a story of strength. The grandmas weave to build community and contribute to the village’s movement. Each purchase directly funds grassroots organizing.

COVID-19 threatens the sustainability of the Cultural Survival Bazaars. We need your support now to help us make a successful pivot online to ensure the continuity of the Bazaars you have known and loved for years. Please shop and donate!

**Because 100% of sales go directly to Indigenous artists, we rely on you to cover Cultural Survival's costs to host this eventDonate at bazaar.cs.org/donate
