I’m coming to you right now because I need your help to send a message that there’s no room for extremism in IL-06. Will you chip in $25 or more to help me defend this seat against my far-right opponent Jeanne Ives and the outside groups backing her?

Ives proudly embraces the label of “conservative crusader”. And that’s not just a pithy nickname -- her backwards agenda would do real harm to the families of this district if she makes it to Washington.

Ives has called to “finally end abortion in our time” and said that “[gay marriage] is really a disordered state” to argue against allowing LGBTQ couples to adopt.

And in 2018, she was condemned by members of her own party for running campaign ads that mocked public school teachers, women fighting for their reproductive rights, and our immigrant and LGBTQ brothers and sisters.

Ives represents the most cruel and divisive wing of the GOP, and we can’t let her anywhere near the halls of power -- will you chip in to our people-powered campaign to help defend IL-06 and our values?

This is not about political differences -- it’s about standing up for basic human decency.
