This is more than just a course: it's a week-long intellectual adventure, designed for high-achieving students like you who want to push their thinking, engage with world-class faculty, and join a community of motivated peers. Our second annual session in Singapore will challenge you to listen generously, think critically, and write persuasively – all indispensable skills for your future success.
In Singapore, you’ll spend your mornings engaging with faculty and an interdisciplinary curriculum encompassing ethics, meta-ethics, logic, epistemology, political philosophy, the history of political thought, political economy, micro & macro economics, mathematics-for-economics, and game theory. Afternoons will be reserved for delving deeper and exchanging ideas with preceptors and other students.
In the evenings you shall go beyond the classroom: from ancient temples, colourful shophouses, and amazing food to local icons like Sentosa Island and Gardens by the Bay. You are going to have the opportunity to extend your morning and afternoon conversations, whilst soaking in the Singaporean culture and sights alongside your peers and soon-to-be lifelong friends.
Your week-long experience will culminate with a formal celebration and a John Locke Institute Certificate recognising your achievements.
