 Fellow patriot, While everyone else is carving pumpkins, Washington’s been carving up paychecks. For 29 days, families across Texas have been haunted by uncertainty — 130,000 federal workers furloughed, projects on hold, and millions wondering how long this shutdown will last. I didn’t come to Congress to play political games. I came here to get things done.
