We ask you to tell Congress what you think a lot around here. Well, these kinds of pressure campaigns work. 

RepresentUs supporters have sent more than 1,000 letters to their representatives telling them that Congress, not the president, controls the power of the purse and only Congress can set tariffs. And recently, the Senate voted to cancel the 50% tariffs on Brazil, with bipartisan support. 

The House still needs to vote on the Brazil tariffs, and the Senate is expected to have two more resolutions about the trade war brought up for a vote this week. 

Now more than ever, it's urgent to let lawmakers know you want them to take back their Constitutional powers. Only Congress should have the ability to impose tariffs, as outlined in Article 1 of the Constitution.
