The Democratic establishment has twisted itself into knots to avoid explicitly endorsing Zohran Mamdani — their party’s nominee — for mayor of NYC. I’ve been disgusted by their refusal to listen to their own voters.
DEMOCRATIC VOTERS ARE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY — OUR DEMOCRATIC PARTY WORKS FOR DEMOCRATIC VOTERS!
So I want to say with a clear voice: I stand with New York City Democratic voters and I unequivocally support Zohran Mamdani for Mayor of New York.

Like Zohran, I’m committed to building a Philadelphia that focuses on public safety, crime prevention and holding bad cops accountable. I agree with his emphasis on affordability and building a city where everyone is treated equally. It’s the right thing to do and it makes us safer.
But the Democratic establishment doesn’t agree — so I’m saying it as clearly as I can.
