While the coronavirus pandemic has presented numerous challenges to daily life, I’m committed to safely completing my 40th annual 99 county meetings.
This past week I made thirteen stops throughout southeast Iowa and had meaningful dialogue about what’s on the minds of Iowans.
One of the issues I hear about regularly is the rising cost of prescriptions. I’ve made this my priority. With so many Americans unemployed and facing the threat of coronavirus, affording their prescriptions should be the least of their concern.
My bill, The Prescription Drug Pricing Reduction Act, would provide peace of mind to so many Americans. Congress must put politics aside and finally act to lower prescription drug prices in the next coronavirus relief bill.
