Hey ,
One of my buddies shot a huge buck last weekend. Big rack, lucky shot, the whole deal.
He bumped the deer, dragged it back to the truck, and started to field dress it. Knife in hand, cold hands, hurry to beat the sun… and the blade slipped.
One second he’s fine. The next, he’s hit the BIG one… the femoral artery.
Not the kind of thing you can shrug off…
Lucky for him, I’d handed him The Clamp before his trip, “just in case.”
He got it on fast, bought him the time he needed, and his buddy got him to the hospital.
I’m not being dramatic when I say without a tourniquet he’d be a goner. I gave it to him half-joking – “throw it in your pack, you’ll probably never need it.”
Look, whether you’re hunting, hiking, camping, or even just driving… you need at least one of these on you.
