Friend, we need your help to STOP Sprint and T-Mobile from merging -- and pricing out everyday Americans.
Last month, the Department of Justice approved the wireless companies’ $26 billion mega-merger -- despite reports that the agency’s antitrust division recommended it be blocked. And soon after the announcement, FCC Chair Ajit Pai indicated that he’s also ready to sign off on this catastrophic deal.
If this merger goes through, it’ll leave consumers with only THREE national options for wireless service, leading to fewer choices and higher prices.
But Friend, the fight to block this monopolistic merger isn’t over yet. Your state attorney general is one of sixteen who have filed a lawsuit to put a stop to it -- and they need to hear your support.
Tell your state attorney general NOW: We the People oppose the dangerous Sprint/T-Mobile mega-merger!
This lawsuit is the only thing standing between us and a marketplace where AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile call all of the shots. But T-Mobile, Sprint, and the Trump administration know this -- and they’re doing everything they can to get these attorneys general to drop it.
Our 21st-century democracy depends on all Americans having access to robust and affordable wireless voice and broadband services. But the wireless industry is already highly consolidated and will only get worse if T-Mobile and Sprint are allowed to merge.
T-Mobile and Sprint are direct competitors with each other in several markets -- including the prepaid market, which primarily serves low-income and other marginalized communities. These communities may be priced out of wireless access if this deal goes through.
Add your name to our petition in support of the lawsuit, and we’ll send it to the attorneys general who are fighting to stop this merger.
Thanks for all you do,
