36th Annual Texas Crime Stoppers Conference
Odessa3
The 36th Annual Texas Crime Stoppers Conference was held in Odessa, Texas, bringing together Peace Officers, Crime Stoppers Board Members, and Volunteers from across the state for three days of training, networking, and celebration.
This year’s event went beyond the classroom with a mix of learning and fun. Attendees gained valuable insights into nonprofit guidelines, program best practices, marketing strategies, and current trends in crime prevention. Breakout sessions and general sessions covered a wide range of topics, from forensic genealogy to leadership development, providing tools to strengthen programs and enhance collaboration statewide.
Beyond the training, participants also had the opportunity to enjoy special events that fostered networking and celebration:
* An evening event at Dos Amigos featured live entertainment, great food, and a fun atmosphere that gave attendees a chance to relax and connect outside the classroom.
* The Texas Best Awards Luncheon recognized outstanding achievements of Crime Stoppers programs and honored those who go above and beyond in their communities.
* Social gatherings throughout the week provided time for attendees to share experiences, exchange ideas, and strengthen partnerships with peers from across the state.
We extend our gratitude to Odessa Crime Stoppers for doing an exceptional job hosting this year’s conference and for creating an experience that was both informative and fun. The energy, connections, and memories made in Odessa will carry forward as we continue our shared mission to solve and prevent crime across Texas.
