This conversation will bring together feminist leaders, youth-led movements, advocates, and practitioners who have been transforming the SRHR and gender justice landscape across Africa. Building on insights from the MEA PROGRESS 2024 Symposium, the webinar aims to amplify grassroots voices, share lived experiences and reflect on how community-driven innovation continues to shape regional policy and practice.

Speakers, including Bala Baliqis (YES Foundation, Nigeria), Evelyn Joseph (SIRP, Nigeria), Nyambura Nyacira (Q-Initiative), and Steve Biko Sigu (Ipas Africa Alliance) will offer grounded reflections on sustaining gender-transformative work in restrictive environments. Their experiences spanning collaborations with MenEngage networks, inclusive SRHR programming for LGBTQGNC communities, and private sector partnerships illustrate the resilience and creativity of African feminist and youth movements.
