Why Are Leftists Telling Themselves, 'We Are Not the Crazy Ones'?
by Joshua Arnold
With only a week to go until several American states and localities hold off-year elections, perhaps the biggest surprise is the ascent of little-known New York Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani (D), an avowed socialist who looks like a shoo-in to become the next mayor of New York City. The leftist elements of the Democratic base are ecstatic about Mamdani's candidacy: a minority candidate who not only shares their every radical belief, but who has also proven a talented retail politician and a competent rhetorician (the Titanic disaster of "Harris 2024" is still fresh, after all).

What American Christians Can Learn from Persecuted Christians Abroad
by Sarah Holliday
God, prayer, daily life... how might Christians in America view these things differently than Christians abroad? It turns out, our understanding is often worlds apart. And while persecution against Christians is global, it tends to look much more violent - far more brutal - beyond our U.S. borders.

The Slippery Slopes of Assisted Suicide and Abortion
by Chuck Donovan
As 2025 enters its final months, battles over the legalization of assisted suicide continue to advance toward uncertain outcomes. The battlefields include the British House of Lords, New York State, and the Australian State of Victoria. Meanwhile, the clock continues to tick on the expansion of "access" to assisted suicide in Canada, where the effective date has been moved to March 17, 2027 for "medical aid in dying" (MAID) to become available for people whose "sole underlying condition is a mental illness."

Class-Action Suit over 90-day Contraceptive Shows FDA Accountability Is Decades Overdue
by Teresa Donovan
The pharmaceutical maker Upjohn had begun the New Drug Application (NDA) for DMPA approval in the U.S. as early as 1968, and the drug was introduced in New Zealand in 1969. Concerns nevertheless existed regarding studies showing that Depo-Provera caused mammary tumours in beagles and later studies showing a two-fold increased risk of breast cancer in certain sub-groups of women, including those with current or recent use within the previous five years.

Argentina: Midterm Election Victory Allows Milei's Economic Reforms to Proceed
by Joshua Arnold
Argentina President Javier Milei's political party exceeded expectations in Sunday's midterm legislative elections, which were widely seen as a referendum on the libertarian outsider's agenda of economic reform. The qualified victory - which was by no means certain - enables Milei to cement and build on his economic reforms after Argentina languished for nearly a century under socialist rule. Milei's victory is also good news for the Trump administration, which bet heavily on his success and backed him to counter Chinese influence in Latin America.

20 Days That Could Blow Up Narco-Socialism in the Western Hemisphere
by Yoe Suarez
There are feared, powerful, and cruel men. And then there are men like Hugo "El Pollo" Carvajal. He headed Venezuelan Military Intelligence between 2004 and 2011, and between 2013 and 2014, under the leadership of Nicolas Maduro. The late dictator Hugo Chavez, suspicious of his own influence, tasked him with monitoring senior military commanders, ministers, and propagandists of the Venezuelan regime.
