Your Intentions Now: Cardinal Burke Offers Pontifical High Mass on
11/1 All Saints Solemnity

Dear Friend,
This coming Saturday, Cardinal
Burke will celebrate a very special Pontifical High Mass, on the
Solemnity of All Saints, November 1, at 12:15 PM Central Time. All are
invited to make a pilgrimage to the Shrine to assist at this Solemn
High Mass.
For those who will be viewing on a
computer or smartphone, save this link.
What intentions will you be
submitting, which will be included in the full ceremonial, Pontifical
High Mass, offered by Cardinal Burke?
Be assured that His Eminence and
thousands of Operation Storm Heaven Rosary Warriors from around the
world will be praying for your intentions in their Holy
Rosaries.
The November 1 Pontifical High Mass
is the older, traditional, Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite that
has been celebrated for centuries.

Here are some interesting
facts:
~ Only a Bishop, Archbishop,
Cardinal or Pope can celebrate a Pontifical High Mass.
~ Cardinal Burke will process in
the sanctuary either wearing, a cappa magna, a long red pontifical
garment or a surplice and his religious clothing as a Cardinal, not
yet fully vested for Holy Mass. A Cardinal's red skull cap will be
worn and not a bishop's mitre.
~ Vesting will take place during
the Holy Mass.
~ His Eminence’s hands will be
ceremonially washed by four clerics. Gloves will cover his
hands.
~ His Eminence will be wearing
liturgical pontifical sandals on his feet, as well as liturgical
stockings, also known as buskins.
~ When Cardinal Burke will be
sitting and preaching, he will be on a chair called a “faldstool”
which will be placed in the middle of the sanctuary.

~ A Master of Ceremonies, clerics,
deacons, subdeacons and altar boys will be present.
~ Everything will be
sung.
If you have never assisted at a
Pontifical High Mass, please mark your calendar to either attend in
person or view online, on November 1 at 12:15 PM Central
Time.
Submit
your intentions for His Eminence to remember in this High
Mass:
Thank you for being part of
Cardinal Burke's Rosary Crusade, Operation Storm
Heaven. As the month of the
Holy Rosary is coming to an end, I want to remind you of the 15
Promises Our Lady gave to those who pray them. Therefore, I encourage
you to recite the Holy Rosary every day as Our Lady requested, if you
do not do so already. Our website has extensive content
for your review, as well as the prayers and mysteries.
If you have questions on the
Pontifical High Mass, such as the significance of the various
vestments Cardinal Burke will wear, the faldstool, or any other
comments, I will be happy to answer them.
Yours in the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
