I wanted to give you an update on our organizing progress on Arizona’s tribal lands.

As you know, Arizona – and the Navajo Nation specifically – have been hit hard by the pandemic. For that reason, it’s been a challenge to mobilize safely and efficiently, but we’ve adapted as needed and we continue to move forward with our mission to protect and empower Native voices.

We now have seven Native organizers on the Navajo Nation and Hopi Reservation. In addition to helping with COVID-19 relief efforts, our dedicated organizers distribute, collect, and assist with voter registration and early voting forms. We continue to encourage the community to vote by mail so they can make their voice heard while staying safe and healthy.

Organizing during a devastating pandemic is no easy task, and we’re sure to have a challenging – and expensive – few months ahead of us. But with so much at stake in November, we must continue to fight for Arizona’s tribal lands. Their voters deserve to have their say in defeating Trump and flipping the U.S. Senate.

To prepare for the coming months, we need your help to hire more Native organizers, purchase PPE for the team, register Native voters, buy radio ads, and print resources and flyers. Will you donate $15 or whatever you can to help us empower Native voices and turn Arizona blue?
