U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to swear in Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva.

Over 30 days ago, Adelita Grijalva won the special election for Arizona's 7th Congressional District and became the first Latina to represent Arizona in Congress.

Speaker Johnson has sworn in other newly elected (Republican) officials less than 24 hours after their elections—making it clear this is a partisan political move.

Speaker Mike Johnson knows she'll be a key signature to unlock a vote on the release of the Epstein files. Grijalva will also help hold Trump and the Republican majority in Congress accountable for shutting down the government. We need everyone putting pressure on Johnson to do what he’s required as House Speaker.
