Now, I want to take a minute to share more about the journey I’ve been on.
My roots run deep in the Peach State. I’m an Athens native and proud University of Georgia alum. After earning my degree, I started my first small business with nothing but a pickup truck and a shovel.
Those early days taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and chasing the American Dream – and that experience has driven my mission to put hardworking Georgians first.
Thanks to supporters like you, I was honored to be elected as Georgia’s 83rd governor.
Since taking office six years ago, we’ve put hardworking families first
We’ve broken economic records with jobs and investment coming to every corner of the state.
We’ve brought Georgia’s unemployment rate to its LOWEST point in state history.
We’ve been named the NUMBER ONE State for Business.
We’ve cracked down on violent crimes and supported law enforcement.
We’ve delivered BILLIONS in tax relief to help hardworking Georgians keep more money in their pockets.
We’ve given teachers HISTORIC pay raises, and ensured our education system puts parents and students first.
And in the last few months, we’ve signed bills that invest in a safer and stronger future for all Georgians.
Now, as RGA Chair, I’m working to make sure conservative leadership wins across the country.
Here’s what’s ahead:
⇒️ 2025: We have critical governor’s races in New Jersey and Virginia on November 4th — our chance this year to flip a blue state red and build momentum heading into the next cycle.
⇒️ 2026: 36 governorships will be on the ballot — including right here in Georgia. What we build NOW will decide whether conservatives are on offense or defense in two years.
That’s why I launched the Grassroots Victory Fund:To invest early in the digital infrastructure, ground game, and tools our candidates need to win tough races across the country.

More than 35 years ago, I started my first business with nothing but a pickup truck and a shovel.
Since taking office as Governor of Georgia in 2019, I’ve put hardworking Georgians and their families first!
We’ve championed legislation to cut taxes for working families, crack down on crime, end human trafficking, reform foster care and adoption, and support our students and educators.
When Georgia became the first state to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic, I made sure we protected both lives and livelihoods. As a result, we’ve seen historic economic investment, and we’ve continued to lead the way in creating opportunities at every corner of the state.
And we’re not stopping there!
Marty, the girls, and I are working hard to ensure Georgia’s best days are ahead of us.
