I’m Henry Cuellar. I’m the Democrat running for re-election to represent TX-28 and keep this critical district blue. I’m a native South Texan, and I’ve always had a passion for improving the lives of South Texans in everything I do. I’m going to ask you to chip in any amount you can to help protect this seat. But first, let me share some photos from my recent travels around the district.

First, I met with local officials and community leaders to discuss local issues and explore ways we can address them together. I will always work with local leaders to support & strengthen our communities.

Later, I stopped by the Poteet Community Federal Health Center to see firsthand the vital services they provide to the community. Clinics like these are essential to the health and well-being of South Texans but could face grant delays and shortages if the shutdown continues. I’ll continue working to ensure these clinics have the resources they need to serve our communities and help families get the care they deserve.

I also had the opportunity to hold a roundtable with local officials and community leaders to discuss how the government shutdown is affecting South Texans. I’ve refused my own congressional salary until the government reopens, because if South Texans aren’t getting paid, neither should I.

Friend, building community is my driving force. I will always work for families, local leaders, and community members to support those who make our region strong. – but I can’t do this without your help. Will you chip in $10 to ensure that I can continue supporting South Texas in Congress?
