FRC is sounding the alarm and calling believers to see this "peace" plan through a biblical lens.

Dear John,

The situation in Israel stands at a critical and decisive moment.

The Israeli Knesset has given initial approval to a bill that would extend Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria -- the biblical heartland that is at the core of Israel's identity.

The members who introduced this legislation stated that they were, "making a correction that is long overdue," a sentiment I wholeheartedly share.

Yet, some in our government have called this a "political stunt," as the 20-point Gaza Peace Plan threatens to create false hopes for a Palestinian state carved from Israel's God-given borders.

As believers, we know this is not simply a political debate or an issue of foreign policy -- it is a matter of biblical truth.

We must never forget what Genesis 12:3 tells us, "I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

God's promise has not expired -- in fact, we are seeing it fulfilled.

This, of course, does not mean we have to agree or support every decision made by the Israeli government. But it does mean we recognize their right to exist, and nothing is more fundamental to that than their ability to live peacefully in the land that God has promised them.

FRC has long been engaged in this fight and we are prioritizing it in this moment. A couple of weeks ago we hosted a panel discussion on Israel at the Pray Vote Stand Summit, and last month, over 200 evangelical leaders joined me in signing a letter urging President Trump to reaffirm that Judea and Samaria are not only a large part of Israel's history, but they are central to its' identity.

Family Research Council also supported the launch of the Congressional Friends of Judea and Samaria Caucus -- a vital effort to ensure U.S. policy aligns with biblical truth.

This is one of the top issues America simply cannot afford to get wrong. If we do, the consequences could be disastrous. That's why I'm praying for President Trump and asking him to reconsider.

As FRC's Board Chairman Michele Bachmann recently said, "No nation, not even the United States, has any authority to divide the land that God gave to the Jewish people, nor do we have any authority to remove any of the Jewish people off the land."

Through our communication platforms like Washington Watch and The Washington Stand, and resources like this short informational video on the importance of Judea and Samaria in Scripture, FRC is educating believers and political leaders to understand why God's covenants still matter and how Christians should respond.

Will you stand with me today to ensure that the biblical truth about Israel is proclaimed and defended? Together, we can stand as a remnant of faithful believers who refuse to compromise on God's unchanging Word.

YES, I'LL STAND WITH FRC

Right now, Israel faces immense pressure not only from Hamas, but also from outside powers who claim to support peace yet have long histories of backing terrorism.

Countries like Turkey and Qatar -- both with deep ties to Islamist extremism -- continue to play influential roles in shaping the so-called peace process.

Over the past decade, Turkey has been one of Hamas's strongest allies, providing financial support, operational assistance, and diplomatic cover. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan calls Hamas a "political party" rather than a terrorist organization.

Thankfully, new reports now indicate that Turkey may be excluded from the proposed International Stabilization Force, which is supposed to ensure Gaza complies with President Trump's 20-Point Peace Plan. However, this force is still expected to consist of troops from Indonesia, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan -- all Muslim-majority nations.

Meanwhile, Qatar remains a central hub for Hamas leadership and a principal financier of terrorism in the region, having also supported groups such as the Taliban, al-Qaeda, and ISIS. Yet both Turkey and Qatar remain at the negotiating table -- helping shape Gaza's future and with it, the future of Israel, despite their long history of empowering extremists.

These nations are wolves in sheep's clothing. Allowing them to influence Gaza's future risks paving the way for Hamas's return -- perhaps under a new name. And while global leaders talk of peace, Israel has already released more than 2,000 imprisoned terrorists back into Samaria as part of the fragile agreement.

True peace cannot be built on appeasement. When those committed to Israel's destruction are granted a seat at the table, the result is not peace -- but peril.

Your support helps FRC equip believers to understand and act on this critical issue.

A recent FRC Social Issues and Worldview Survey shows that 84% of churchgoers say consistent prayer for Israel is very or somewhat important, and nearly three-quarters believe personal advocacy and U.S. government support are essential.

Believers are looking to church leaders for guidance, not just on this, but on a whole range of issues. Through our Center for Biblical Worldview and other resources, FRC is making sure they are informed and equipped to act with clarity and boldness.

DEFEND BIBLICAL TRUTH WITH FRC

By standing with FRC, you are helping Christians across America discern the truth about Israel's challenges, raise their voices in prayer and advocacy, and influence the policy decisions that shape the region's future.

Ultimately, we know that no scheme of man and no weapon of the enemy will prevail against God's sovereign plan. But believers need to decide how best to honor the Lord with the time and talents he has entrusted to us.

As Psalm 122:6 reminds us, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee."

Thank you for joining FRC in praying for and standing with Israel.
