While Donald Trump plans a lavish Thanksgiving in his gold-plated White House, 41 million Americans won’t be able to afford groceries because the administration is illegally suspending SNAP benefits.
I filed a lawsuit today against Trump’s USDA and Secretary Brooke Rollins for unlawfully suspending SNAP benefits during the federal government shutdown.
If you’re with me, add your name to demand that the Trump administration fully fund SNAP benefits — now. [[link removed]]
Let’s be clear: USDA is sitting on billions of dollars in contingency funds for situations like this. Not only do they have the authority to use that money to fund SNAP benefits — they have a legal duty to do it.
SNAP benefits can and must be provided, shutdown or not. In fact, SNAP has always been funded during past shutdowns.
Instead, Trump and his administration are playing politics with an essential safety net that tens of millions of lower-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities rely on to put food on the table. That includes 5.5 million Californians alone — 63% of whom are children or elderly.
The holidays are around the corner. Grocery prices are soaring. And food banks are facing unprecedented demand. If the Trump administration gets its way, families will go hungry just so it can make a political point.
This isn’t just illegal. It’s cruel.
I’m taking the administration to court — and I’m asking you to stand with me. Add your name to defend SNAP benefits and the millions of families who rely on them. [[link removed]]

Thanks for speaking out with me against this lawless, merciless administration.
