I’m asking at a critical moment — for our campaign, for New York, and for the country. Please, give me a moment to explain:

The President of the United States is targeting New York for political retribution. He is using the legal system to attack our elected leaders, he is flooding our streets with masked federal officers, and his thugs are vanishing our neighbors.

He is escalating his attacks on Democratic cities and states, and shows no signs of stopping.

But New York establishment Democrats have been caught on the back foot by his administration — and have no clear strategy to fight back.

The Empire State should be leading the resistance to this administration.

We are failing on the front.

That’s why it’s so critical that our campaign wins. The establishment playbook is fundamentally not prepared to meet this moment.

But our campaign doesn’t have the resources to take on the entire New York political machine by ourselves. If we’re going to win this race, it’s going to be because we have a robust grassroots team by our side.
