The New York Times: Consumers are facing greater costs for their 2026 A.C.A. health coverage as Congress continues to debate whether to extend subsidies that help people afford their premiums.
American families are starting to get a look at what their healthcare could cost them if Congress fails to extend the expiring ACA subsidies.
According to experts, a 60-year-old couple in Kentucky with an annual income of $85,000 could potentially see an increase in their premiums of more than $23,000 annually.
To be crystal clear, Mike Johnson and the GOP majority in the House could end this problem immediately by simply voting to extend the ACA subsidies.
They did it over the summer to extend tax cuts for billionaires, but they refuse to do it to help working families.
We need to make it clear to Mike Johnson and the GOP that America is watching, and will remember when we go to the ballot box. Will you add your name to my petition DEMANDING the House vote to extend the expiring ACA subsidies immediately?
