Dear Partners,
Health care in this country is simply too expensive, and the problem is only getting worse. After an election in 2024 centered around affordability, including whether people can afford their health care, Congress has not delivered.
Last week, Families USA released a poll conducted by Hart Research Associates showing that lowering health care costs is the top priority for American voters across party lines, surpassing housing, jobs, crime, and immigration. And while the government remains shut down and the ACA's enhanced premium tax credits are set to expire at the end of the year, an extraordinary 91 percent of voters say it's important that Congress and the President act to lower health care costs.
We would like to invite you to an Insider's Briefing on Wednesday, November 19 at 2 pm ET where Geoff Garin of Hart Research Associates will walk through the poll in detail and answer your questions. Families USA staff will also be on the line to discuss how these findings can help advance our work as health advocates in 2026.
You can register for this briefing here.
We hope you can join us for this important briefing on November 19. Please reach out if you have any questions.
