Hi John, this is Sara’s mom, Jane.
Sara’s roots in Wisconsin run deep, starting with her grandparents who worked tirelessly on a dairy farm in Richland County.
Growing up in a working-class family ourselves, my husband and I always instilled in Sara and her siblings the values of hard work, perseverance, and community.
I was a teaching assistant for kids with special needs and a proud member of the WEAC union. Sara’s father, a Navy veteran who served during Vietnam, came home to fix telephones at Wisconsin Bell. Together, we raised our kids in Brookfield where we had a deep appreciation for bettering our community and each other.
These are the same values that she carries with her every day in her fight for our state.
That’s why it’s always been important to me to stand up for what’s right — for my family and their future — even when it means changing political stripes. After voting Republican most of my life, Scott Walker pushed me toward being an Independent. Then Donald Trump showed me it was time for a major change.
So many Americans are in that same spot. I firmly believe leaders like Sara are who we need to guide us forward.
Sara has the wisdom and strength of a seasoned leader ready to tackle Wisconsin’s challenges. As a working mom myself, I know firsthand the demands placed on families and the importance of having someone like Sara who truly understands and champions those struggles.
I’m so proud of all that she's accomplished and the dedication she shows to improve the lives of every family across Wisconsin. This campaign isn't just about politics — it's about people. About you, your loved ones, and the bright future we can build together.
As Sara’s campaign prepares for an important fundraising deadline, I’m humbly asking for your support. Your contribution will help Sara continue her fight for affordable and accessible health care, strong public schools, and common-sense leadership that serves the people of Wisconsin.
