No Kings! Senate Republicans Must End Trump’s Government Shutdown
([link removed])
Trump and his allies in Congress have failed to end this government shutdown in part because they’re refusing to include “No Kings” language in the spending bill that would stop them from making underhanded, unilateral funding cuts to essential programs. This is a clear power grab — and one of many reasons we said “No Kings!” from coast to coast earlier this month.
Join our efforts against Trump’s tyranny — tell your senators to demand “NO KINGS” language and defend food and water funding in the spending bill! ([link removed])

Stopping Incentives for Polluting Factory Farms in New Mexico!
New Mexico is already inundated with polluting mega-dairies. The state’s new Clean Transportation Fuel Program threatens to worsen the problem. It may give lavish incentives to these facilities if they turn their waste into dirty fuel. But as the Environment Department starts rulemaking on the program, we have a huge opportunity to change that. In September, we attended hearings to provide public comment and advocate for rules that will not give a leg up to polluting factory farms. ([link removed])

Taking the Trump Administration to Court on Factory Farm Pollution!
With nine allies, we’ve filed a lawsuit ([link removed]) challenging Trump’s decision to abandon EPA regulations that would have stopped millions of pounds of slaughterhouse and meat processing plant pollution from reaching our waterways. Big Meat corporations must be held accountable to clean up their mess, and we look forward to fighting Trump’s industry handout in court.

Q: Is “Abundance” the answer?
A: No! You might be hearing a lot about Abundance, the new book by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson that’s taking the Democratic world by storm.
Their “abundance” agenda has been embraced by leaders like PA Gov. Josh Shapiro and CA Gov. Gavin Newsom — but it’s utterly wrong and insufficient for the crises we face. Read more: ”Abundance” won’t save us — but here’s what will. ([link removed])

Protect Free Speech from Trump’s Repression!
The Trump administration is threatening repressive action to stifle the voices of people and nonprofits they don’t agree with. But we have a chance to stop this in Congress.
Democratic lawmakers have introduced the NOPE (No Political Enemies) Act, which would protect and uphold free speech for individuals and organizations.
Exercise your right to speak out! Urge your members of Congress to support the NOPE Act. ([link removed])
