The Department of Justice just announced plans to deploy federal election monitors to California and New Jersey, ahead of next Tuesday’s election.

And at the same time, the Trump administration has been demanding sensitive voter data from Secretaries of State across the country.

This is clearly a coordinated campaign to undermine state-run elections, intimidate officials, and erode public trust – just as voters prepare to head to the polls.

Let’s be clear: there’s no evidence of widespread fraud. California and New Jersey run some of the most secure and transparent elections in the nation.

Trump has never let facts or the law stand in his way. He’s built an entire movement on undermining confidence in our democracy for his own political gain – and now, he’s using the weight of federal power to do it again.
